First time in Prague

Prague has many names that describe it perfectly – Prague the Hundred Spires City, Magical Prague, Romantic Prague  and many others.
During our tour we will discover the 4  districts of Prague, which were independent in their time with their own municipal governments. We will discover the right and the left bank of the Vltava River.

To make the walk more enjoyable, it is possible to split it in two days.

THE RIGHT BANK
Old Town – will convince us that it used to be a medieval town with its winding streets and passages. We will walk through it and see the most interesting things it has to offer – the Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, the medieval Charles University, the Estates Theatre (where Mozart conducted his operas), we will walk through the Jewish Town to the Charles Bridge, which has stood here since the 14th century.

New Town . the name is a bit deceiving. The New Town was founded in the 14th century. We will discover not only the old face of the city, but also the new boulevards with commercial avenues – Wenceslas Square, the Franciscan Garden with the Church of Our Lady of Snows, the Lucerna Passage, the National Museum, National Theatre and much more.

THE LEFT BANK
Hradcany – This exceptional town near Prague Castle combines aristocratic houses and former shanty town. We will  admire the Czernin Palace, the Loreto Monastery, the area of the New World district and the palaces of Martinice, Schwarzeberg, Archbishop’s and of course the seat of the kings, Prague Castle.

Lesser Town – It is an incredible district of palaces and former townhouses. We’ll explore the nooks  of the small streets, Lesser Town Square, the Church of St. Nicholaus, the Knights of Malta Palace and don’t forget to stop by John Lennon’s Wall and cross the Charles Bridge back into the Old Town.
