Mysterious streets of Prague

Prague has many adorable places, which are mostly hidden somewhere behind the streets. I would like to take you to the old city with the small side streets and paths, through the arcades and passages.

We will start at the Charles Bridge and find out the secret of its foundation. Then we will go through side streets and see where the Templars had their headquarters – the Church of St. Anne. We will discover the old houses and their underground – we will visit one of the oldest houses in Prague – the house U Kunštátu and we will follow the old coronation road of the kings past the Church of St. Jilja. Along the way we will see the oldest technical university in the world, the 15th century pub U medvidku, the centre of the Czech police Bartolomějská.

Then we will cross the original borders of the Old Town and explore the New Town. We see where the Velvet Revolution started in 1989, we will stop at the spinning head of Franz Kafka, discover where the Jewish cemetery used to be, visit the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, the Franciscan Garden and the Lucerna arcade founded by Václav Havel’s grandfather. This will take us to Wenceslas Square with the statue of St. Wenceslas, where we will end our walk.
